Naming rules of STM32 MCU chip model

Before stm32f105 and stm32f107 interconnect microcontrollers, STM32 basic series, enhanced series, USB basic series and enhanced series have been launched; The new series of products use the 72mhz processing frequency of the enhanced series. The memory includes 64KB to 256Kb flash memory and 20KB to 64KB embedded SRAM. The new series adopts lqfp64, lqfp100 and lfbga100 packages. Different packages maintain the consistency of pin arrangement. Combined with the design concept of STM32 platform, developers can re optimize the function, memory, performance and pin number by selecting products, so as to meet the personalized application requirements with minimal hardware changes.

Description of STM32 model: take the chip of stm32f103rbt6 as an example, the model is composed of seven parts, and its naming rules are as follows:

(1) STM32: STM32 represents the 32-bit microcontroller of arm Cortex-M3 core.

(2) F: F stands for chip sub series.

(3) 103:103 stands for enhanced series.

(4) R: R represents the number of pins, where T represents 36 pins, C represents 48 pins, R represents 64 pins, V represents 100 pins, and Z represents 144 pins.

(5) B: B represents the embedded flash capacity, in which 6 represents 32K byte flash, 8 represents 64K byte flash, B represents 128K byte flash, C represents 256K byte flash, D represents 384k byte flash, and e represents 512k byte flash.

(6) T: T represents package, H represents BGA package, T represents LQFP package, and u represents vfqfpn package.

(7) 6:6 represents the working temperature range, in which 6 represents - 40-85 ℃ and 7 represents - 40-105 ℃.
